Well preserved parts of the hull were found (7m long). Southern Italian pottery, 'orlo bifido' dishes with the plates/ lids (more than 500) and 15 Pompeian red plates. Great quantities of rough glass clumps. Italian terra sigillata Drag, 24/25 bearing the stamps PESCECLE and C.IUL.FIR (Pescenius Clemens and Caius Iulius Firmus) and some eastern ware Five oil lamps and 2 glass vessels were of western origin. A few necks of Cretan amphorae, a number of ECW pottery (mugs, jugs, dishes and lids) were of eastern origin. |
