Summary:

Large hydraulic system employed with multiple leats. Likely this mine did not continue operations into the imperial period. Roads were built connecting the settlements and mines as well as providing extra regional travel. Nearby are located stone structures which could be workers' hamlets (over 250 groups). Suggestion by Pliny is that no more than 5000 workers were allowed- which might indicate that prior to this rule more had been present.
